Top Soil
Country Gardens' topsoil is a 6mm screened fertile, high quality, safe and certified, sustainable soil high in organic matter which conforms to BS 3882. Soil is available all year round and is stored inside once it has been through state of the art screening stations to enable you to receive dry topsoil during wet periods.
For our soil production we reprocess some of the organic matter from the turf production process to create some of the best topsoil available. Unlike some of our competitors we do not use recycled brick and hardcore dust, any lawn is only as good as the topsoil it is laid on, as the topsoil will supply many of the nutrients that your lawn needs to grow and be healthy. By supplying oxygen, and the right balance of nutrients that is why we always recomend putting our topsoil down before any turfing.
BLENDED TOPSOIL
Blended topsoil is a mixture of 6mm screened soil and a rich, dark 100% organic, peat-free compost suitable for beds, borders under turf and for use as a top dressing.
Contains balanced plant nutrients giving optimum fertilization for the first four to six weeks in use it is ideal for blending with existing soil to increase fertility, moisture retention and drainage quality.
ECONOMY SOIL
Screened soil for making up levels and filling holes prior to finishing off with a layer of 6 mm topsoil.
TOP DRESSING MIX
A combination of loam, sand and compost mixed into a fine topsoil which is suitable for top dressing a lawn to improve quality and even out any undulations.
ORGANIC COMPOST
Organic compost is a rich, dark 100% peat-free natural general-purpose growing medium /soil improver to improve drainage and put some goodness back into a poor soil containing balanced fertilizers. Suitable for a wide range of uses including potting on, container growing, tree and shrub planting and seed sowing, it can also be used for mulching beds. The product is consistent, fine, free flowing and easy to handle.
